Growing up in a small southeastern Pennsylvanian town, Ken Shvetz first dreamed of moving to New York when he was a teenager—there was just something about New York City. He's never forgotten that feeling of moving here for the first time.

Ken graduated from Pace University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science, which then led him to a career in IT. Before most people had even heard of Craigslist, Ken had researched so many landlords and apartments during his numerous moves around the city that he would joke to his friends, "I should work in real estate. I know more about apartment hunting in New York than most brokers do!" Years later, he found himself sitting in a real estate class on his way to obtaining his license.

"I used to joke that instead of helping people with their psychological needs, I decided to help them with their computer needs. Now, I help them with their real estate needs!" All kidding aside, one thing Ken feels has remained constant over the years is his interest in helping people and providing great service.

Since entering the New York City real estate world, he's been constantly and pleasantly amazed at the overwhelming good nature and strong work ethic of the vast majority of the agents around him. With Ken's honest, personable and hard-working approach, his landlords and customers trust him and always know that he has their best interests in mind.

Not only driven by his inquisitive and attentive nature, he prides himself on being a great listener who enjoys forming real connections with his clients. He is a firm believer in asking many questions and talking at length with his clients about their needs before even stepping foot into an apartment. Once there is a solid basis of trust and commitment, he makes it his full-time goal to help find the home that is just right for the client.
