As Managing Director of City Connections Realty, Kathy Dourigan heads the firm which has, since she joined in 1995, grown to become a successful force in Manhattan real estate with a team of over 130 talented professionals. Kathy's seasoned market expertise, open door policy and solutions-oriented management style provide the kind of support agents thrive on, and that helps them succeed.
Kathy's diverse role as Managing Director includes not only overseeing all agents and deals that come through the office, but supervising staff and operations as well. She also works closely with the owners and managers of the extensive exclusive and co-exclusive buildings that City Connections Realty serves, as well as many of Manhattan's most prominent landlords. Kathy is the ultimate go-to resource for any member of the company who undoubtedly benefits from her expertise.
Beginning her real estate career as a rental agent in 1989, Kathy moved into administration and joined City Connections as a listings manager. As the company expanded, so did her responsibilities. Over the years she's become known for her ability to solve complex problems, motivate others with her positive attitude, and facilitate smooth deals with her wealth of industry knowledge. To this day, Kathy is driven by the same passion for her work that inspired her when she started more than two decades ago.
Originally from Long Island, Kathy tried different fields before finding her niche in real estate. Kathy moved to Manhattan in 1991, and currently lives in the Midtown East/Sutton area. She is a supporter of various causes to which she gives times and donations, including breast cancer charities and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
