|Gizela helps customers make real estate decisions based on their heart, and their head.
"A home is your special place to cherish, yet it's also a big investment that should hold its value over time," she believes; which is why she strives to find the ideal balance between the emotional and financial aspects of the home you ultimately choose.
To Gizela, the most important asset for a great real estate agent is also the right attitude. This can be summed up with a few classic words: ambition, hard work, initiative, persistence, honesty, and a genuine desire to help. Her clients know and appreciate that this is Gizella to a tee, which makes her so sought after and effective. Providing great customer service, asking the right questions, and communicating responsively and effectively are also invaluable assets.
Gizela's relevant experience as a senior project manager for a residential construction company and as proprietor of her own interior design firm made becoming an agent a natural transition. She uses her keen eye for design to maximize the presentation of space, and her creative marketing plans to widely promote her property listings.
Gizela holds a BA in International Business from Central European University, in Budapest, Hungary, a BA in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design in New York, NY, and an MBA from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She is fluent in Hungarian, Serbian and English.
Personally, she and her husband, an environmental engineer, volunteer for organizations that work on saving our planet and wildlife. Gizela also enjoys working on green design projects, as well as design projects for disabled children and young adults. She is a member of the Sierra Club NYC, Wildlife Conservation Society, Echoing Green, Green Edge NYC and other positive change organizations.
