||Giuseppe D'Onofrio has been in the real estate business since 1989 when he bought his first Manhattan apartment on 57th St. between 9th and 10th Avenues when the neighborhood wasn't nearly as popular as it is now. After that, he knew he would continue to acquire properties and went on to purchase his first house—a three-family home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He's also rehabbed two homes in Pennsylvania, one a historic property. To this day, D'Onofrio enjoys fixing up houses and prides himself on knowing just about as much as an engineer when it comes to property inspections.
D'Onofrio obtained his real estate license in 2004 and specializes in sales and rentals on the Upper West Side but is knowledgeable about other neighborhoods as well. He has a lot of foreign clients and his strength lies in explaining property benefits and reassuring clients that their investment is solid.
Born in Flushing, Queens, D'Onofrio lived in Corona until he was a year old and then he and his family moved back to Rome. He returned to New York City when he was 18 years old. Open-minded and easy-going, D'Onofrio enjoys riding his motorcycle and swimming in the ocean at Coney Island even on the non-summer months. He also has great recommendations on Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
