Hi and thanks for taking a second to read my bio. I won't bore you with past accomplishments, personal accolades, or what I enjoy doing in my spare time, as I like to keep things simple and straightforward. Besides, your not really going to hire me based on concocted notions I have of myself.

I'm one of six kids from a middle class family in Pennsylvania, and let's just say we didn't throw away food in my house. Working as a bartender enabled me to get an education. I put myself through college and a year in a masters program. For a time, I was determined to earn a living as an actor, and did alright, but eventually reality set in (somewhere around 30) and I needed to expand my horizons. So I became a real estate agent, and to be honest, I hated every minute of it when I first started. It all seemed so dishonest and stressful.

But I was lucky, I've worked for some fantastic companies over the last ten years and have met some unbelievably talented professionals, people who would be successful in any industry they chose. I made the decision to run my business in a way that made me feel good about who I am, and how I spend my time, instead of following the rather flimsy and worn out model I saw all around me.

Over time, I've learned, struggled, failed, accomplished, succeeded and never gave up trying to be better. From renting $900 studios in the Village to selling multi-million dollar townhouses, lofts, and even a restaurant, I learned this business from the ground up and have slowly fallen in love with what I do for a living. I'm straightforward, and have no illusions of talking anyone into one of the biggest decisions of their life, and have never been motivated by money. I like working with people. I like listening and learning about them, what they need, what they want, and what they hope for. I learn as I go, and it's only opportunities that I'm after. I'm not crazy about the confines of an office, or set hours. I prefer to be out in New York City, meeting new people and helping them find their homes. So it's really the perfect job for me. It just took me some time to realize it.
