Meet Alexis Gandelman, a real estate "matchmaker" dedicated to helping clients find The One, whether it's the perfect apartment or the best buyer.

Alexis is known for her integrity always doing the right thing for her clients. She often puts herself in their shoes, advising against the easy, immediate deal in favor of a better future prospect. Clients appreciate her intuition, honesty, empathy, and fact that she does business the old fashioned way - with words and a handshake that mean something.

In addition to a B.S. in Finance, MBA, and M.S. in eCommerce, Alexis worked in variety of industries, including mobile communications, tech and healthcare (where she held several senior regional and national marketing positions). She is fluent in English and Spanish, and can understand (and speak some) French and Italian.

Alexis owns several properties in New York and Florida, honing her building financials expertise as vice president of her co-op's board of managers. In 2004, after shopping for her own Manhattan apartment, she chose to turn her passion for real estate into a career, leaving Corporate America without looking back.

At her previous real estate firm (where she worked almost 10 years), Alexis was consistently a top producer every quarter, closing more deals than any other broker in the company.

Outside of real estate, Alexis enjoys seeing Broadway plays, eating her way through the five boroughs, and traveling the globe. She is passionate about her family and friends, many who started off as clients.

Alexis is also an ardent animal lover and advocate, lobbying and donating money to improve animal welfare. Since 2008 she has been fostering dogs for a local affiliate of NYC's Mayor's Alliance, using her "matchmaking" skills to help over 30 dogs find their "forever" homes with families who adore them.

Alexis lives in Midtown East with her dogs Teddy and Harry and parrot, Suki.
